ON Tuesday late night, we went over to Rocketown, the club primarily for teens founded by Michael W. Smith. Michael was on hand and hosted the evening as his label; Rocketown Records entire roster of artist’s showed up and showcased their talents. The music styles were diverse which stem from Rock and Roll from the group Taylor to some good ol’fashion soul with George Rowe to mountain folk music with Alathea and pop/rock from Shaun Groves and Chris Rice. After the individual sets, the entire group of artist including Out of The Grey, Watermark and Apt Core gathered on stage as a choir and performed some worship tunes that were recorded live for an upcoming compilation album produced by Michael W. Smith.
I had the opportunity to meet up with Out of the Grey and Newsong. Their interviews will be coming soon.
I am also going to a seminar today and so we shall see what happens between now and then. That’s the wrap for now..
