On Saturday, May 8 from 12 – 2, George Lindsey will be appearing at Memory Lane Scrapbooking, located at 835 Nashville Pike in Gallatin, TN (just off Nashville Pike, in the Kroger shopping center). Lindsey will be there to help promote the Memory Lane scrapbook store. Store owner Rosie Satterfield said they chose Lindsey because he is a friend and also because he represents “a memory for the reruns of the the Andy Griffith shows that have been on since years ago.”
George will be greeting fans and signing autographs, and probably will wear his Goober outfit. He will be bringing pictures to autograph and people are encouraged to bring their cameras. The event will be broadcast live on WMRO 1560 AM. For more info, call the Memory Lane store at (615) 230-5150.
