Studio audience members get a free pass to the set of The Music City Show at Northstar Studios in Nashville, TN. The July 8 filmings will include musical guests The Oak Ridge Boys, Adam Crabb, The Hoppers, The McKameys, and the Positive Cowboy Jim Sheldon along with the Nashville Blue Jean Band. This session will be hosted by award nominated singer/musician/comedian Tim Lovelace.
The Oak Ridge Boys are an American Country and Gospel Multi-award winning quartet. The group was founded in the 1940s as the Oak Ridge Quartet. They became popular in Southern Gospel during the 1950s. Their name was officially changed to the Oak Ridge Boys in the early 1960s, and they remained a Gospel group until the mid-1970s, when they changed their image and concentrated on Country Music. After a long reign of popularity in Country Music, the Oaks have sort of moved back to their roots reclaiming a spot in Gospel Music.
Also appearing on the show will be the ever popular family group the Hoppers, known for their appearances on the Gaither Homecoming videos and who have won several Gospel Music awards, as well as Grammy and Dove winning Adam Crabb and the McKameys.
The Music City Show is a series based in Nashville, TN – America’s favorite music city. The show has many elements of Nashville that people love, namely a live band, talented artists and comedic entertainment. It is likened unto The Tonight Show, with comedy segments, a guest host, and a beautiful cityscape backdrop.
RFD-TV’s channel’s name is a reference to Rural Free Delivering, the name for the United States Postal Service’s system of delivering mail directly to rural patrons. Production and uplinking facilities for RFD-TV are located at Northstar Studios in Nashville, TN while the channel’s corporate and national sales office are based in Omaha, Nebraska.

On the day of the taping, please have proper identification (Driver’s license) available to present to the gate.
