CBA, the international trade association of the Christian resources industry, has announced that One Voice
Records Latin-pop artist Freddie Colloca has been chosen to be the featured performer for the official ribbon-cutting
ceremony for next month1s CBA International Convention in Anaheim, CA.
Since the release of his debut project, Dance El Ritmo, in 2001, Colloca, the host of CBN1s international video show, One
Cubed, has made quite a splash in the CCM industry. He has received three Dove Award nominations, performed at the
Dove Awards ceremonies in both 2001 and 2002, and appeared on the Winter JAM tour with Newsboys and NewSong,
among other highlights.
Colloca, who will be touring next month with NewSong and Rachel Lampa on the Summer JAM tour, recently released his
sophomore album, Unconditional. The critically acclaimed album is a July New Music Now feature in over 350 Family
Christian Bookstores nationwide.
“Savior My Savior,” the first single from the new album, has quickly climbed up the charts, this week hitting the #5 spot on
Christian Radio Weekly1s A/C chart, the #7 spot on R&R1s A/C chart, and #21 on R&R1s CHR chart. “Savior My
Savior” is also #7 this week on the nationally syndicated 20 the Countdown chart.
Unconditional is the first English-language breakthrough album for independent Miami-based One Voice Records, which
has been creating Spanish-language Christian music since 1995.
“The ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the first opportunity that CBA attendees have to go onto the exhibit floor, and we are
