ForeFront Records announced today the appointment of Brent Milligan to Vice President of Artist &
Repertoire (A&R). He will report directly to President Greg Ham. Milligan’s first day will be Monday, February 17.
Ham stated, “Brent is an excellent choice to lead ForeFront’s A&R. Not only is he an accomplished musician, songwriter, and
producer, he has also been mentored by Eddie DeGarmo (a principal architect of ForeFront). This, and his tenure in Michael W.
Smith’s band and with Charlie Peacock Productions have more than adequately prepared him to succeed in this new position.”
Milligan added, “This is a great opportunity. The first record I produced was for ForeFront and our visions for artistry and ministry have
always lined up. My goal is to find ways to serve and encourage our artists, believing that God will use them to build His Kingdom. I’m
looking forward to working with ForeFront’s artists as well as developing the careers of new artists to come.”
A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Milligan has produced Seven Day Jesus, Geoff Moore, The Elms and Chasing Furies among
others. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Louisiana State University and currently lives in Nashville with his
wife and two children.
Milligan replaces Interim Head of A&R Charlie Peacock whose year-long commitment expires in March 2003. Ham explains, “Charlie is
revered in our industry as one of the best producers and creative types so who better to assist us in finding the right person to lead
ForeFront’s A&R department. His input and assistance throughout this process is greatly appreciated.”
