Quit looking “down” on yourself when God is calling you to come upward! He is saying “arise and shine for your light has come!” (Isaiah 60:1) Have you ever thought that Christ arose early on the third day, just as the light was dawning? It was not at noon in the full light of day, but He GOT UP and dusted off death as the sun was just breaking through the darkness.
“Find your strength in Me to arise! Arise from the difficulties that would try to tie you down to earth, to I cannot, instead of I can do all things through Christ. In the midst of discouragement find the light to arise.”
There are many who disqualify themselves, when Christ has called them qualified. There are many who listen to other voices, rather than tuning into the One True Voice. It’s your choice. Whose report will you believe?
Where you are wounded, let Him heal. Where you are hurt, let Him help! Where you KNOW you cannot do it without Him, rest in His provision.
Hail, the conquering Hero! Our Christ, Our Lord, Who has won it all! He has conquered death and sickness, grief and pain, all for our sakes. It was for the JOY that was set before Him that He endured the cross. (Heb. 12:2)
It gave Him strength and motivation to endure all the grief, pain, heaviness, sorrow and betrayal of this coming week, because He knew it was worth it for YOU! He did it for YOU! He knew the only way to win your freedom was to proceed through the horror leading up to and through the cross, because of the JOY ON THE OTHER SIDE.
So press through, with Him by your side, SEE THE VICTORY. Let Him show you His Victory He has planned for you! The victory with your name on it.
As you press through the clouds of darkness, loneliness and failure by faith in His unerring Word, the sun starts to break through bringing hope again. And hope does not disappoint. (Rom. 5:5)
Don’t give up on yourself when He has not given up! Don’t give up on your call! Don’t give up on your marriage! Don’t give up on your son or daughter! Don’t give up on that promise He made to you, though it tarry, wait for it! He is faithful who has promised.
This is a week of PASSION. He was passionate about you! And IS passionate about you! He is sitting on the right hand of the Father, whispering your name. He has plans for you! Hopes for you! A dream for you that motivated Him to go all the way for you. Think about it, He went to Hell and back, for you! He believed you were worth it, you were worth dying for.
You are not left out! It is not just the “big name preachers” who have a place in eternity. It is not just the well-known ones, who God is going to flow through in these last days of mighty outpouring and exploits! Don’t count yourself out before the greatest day the church has ever seen.
Sometimes in this day of Christian TV, we think that it’s only the “superstars” who shine, who are qualified to preach and lay hands on the sick. The woman at the well had five husbands and was “shackin’ up” when Jesus found her, and she went and told everybody she knew about Jesus! (John 4:17-30) You have a hand, don’t you; you have a mouth, don’t you?
The lepers said, “Why sit we here until we die?” They GOT UP, shook themselves off and walked into their destiny. Who would have chosen a leper to rescue a city? (II Kings 7:3-11) Who would have chosen a Gideon? (Judges 6:11-16) But God chooses the foolish things to confound the wise. (I Cor. 1:27 ), take heart my friend that means He has chosen you and me.
If you have not asked Jesus into your heart, why not do it today! Start Easter Week fresh with a new outlook and a new life! He has come that your sins be forgiven, completely! Though your sins be as scarlet, He will make them white as snow (Isaiah 1:18 ). Start this new season in your life with Jesus.
God is doing creative things in these days, why not an email altar call?
Pray with me; say it with all your heart, unto Him:
“Jesus, I know I have blown it! I know I have made a mess out of my life. Lord forgive me! I give you my heart; I give you my whole life. I believe You are who you say you are, the Christ, the Son of the Living God! Lord I want to be born again! Wash me clean. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness. Write my name in your book of Life. Lord, I confess you as my Savior, and my Lord! Thank you for the gift of eternal life! In Jesus’ Name I pray, AMEN!”
That does it! If you prayed that prayer and meant it with all your heart—-you are now forgiven, your sins are washed away and you are saved! That should make you shout!
Call somebody, tell somebody, that you prayed this prayer. Confess Christ before men, and He will confess you before His Father.
