Every year as the weather warms up, Christian music fans hit their cars and vans and head to campgrounds across the US for the onslaught of spring, summer and fall festivals. 2001 promises to be a big year for festivals as many of the oldest festivals are still in operation, and a new crop of festivals comes up each year. As more of these take root, and new ones continue to spring up, it is hard to find an area NOT holding a festival this year!
From the large like NewSong to the small like Bellevue Community Picnic, you will find Christian artists at festivals everywhere, including other countries.
In my own community, you can find me handing out Christian Activities Magazine at the Bellevue Community Picnic, May 19, at the Red Caboose Park. Christian Activities Magazine will have a small booth at the picnic, so look for me there! Some of the Christian groups performing at the Bellevue Picnic will include: Grace Assembly, Westmeade Fellowship Choir, the Randolphs, and Gospel music from Belle Meade UMC and Park Ave. Baptist.
