Easter weekend is upon us. That means sunrise and other special Easter church services, Easter baskets, Easter egg hunts, and family gatherings, but after that, what do you do for Easter entertainment? Unfortunately, Easter has not traditionally been a time for great Easter holiday programming and movies.

GMC TV announces Easter week program schedule (Video)
GMC TV has announced its annual 2013 Easter holiday programming. This year’s Easter schedule will feature the new original GMC World Premiere Movie, “The Carpenter’s Miracle,” as well as “The Greatest Stories of the Bible” movie event, the original series “Heartland” and a marathon of the family favorite “Touched by an Angel” on “Miracle Sunday.”
Easter film ‘Pieces of Easter’ stars Jefferson Moore and Christina Karis
While driving home for an Easter family gathering, Alza Reese Bennett (Karis) has car trouble and discovers her road-side service has expired and her cell battery is dead. Dragging her suitcase behind her and carrying her bag of Easter goodies, she walks down a driveway to find farmer Lincoln James (Moore) working on his tractor. She talks Farmer James into driving her home for her family Easter for $1,000 plus expenses . The subsequent drive makes for a humorous movie with some good lessons.
