Respected author H. Jackson Brown, Jr. will be a part of Davis-Kidd Boksellers Local Author Day on June 2. This day of signing with Nashville area writers will run from 11 A.M. through 4:30 P.M. Featured authors will be Cynthis French, Jackie Tepper ans Raye Ann Greenbaum, Kenneth Brigham M.D. and Brown.
Ginger Knight, publicist for the event, tells me three of the four authors, French, Brigham and Brown, are Christian or “family values” authors. I will include a synopsis of each book and leave the decision to you.
Cynthia French will sign books from 11 A.M. to noon. Her book Humanville/Harry Max “shares a story of finding hope, healing and happiness through learning to listen to our inner voice of love.” I have not read the book and cannot offer any more insight than this.
Kenneth Brigham M.D. will sign from 3:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.. Hard Bargain/Harpeth House is called “a concise, soul searching, and very frank private journal penned during Kenneth’s yearlong struggle with prostrate cancer.”
H. Jackson Brown is better known to me through his numerous books including Life’s Little Instruction Book. He will sign from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. his newest book, Highlighted in Yellow: a Short Course in Living Wisely and Choosing Well/Rutledge Hill.
