Some of Christian music’?s best known performers including Brooke Fraser, Third Day, Planetshakers, Hillsong United, and Delirious? are supporting Hope Rwanda.
Compassion, Opportunity International, Bible Society, Samaritan?s Purse, Hillsong Church, Joyce Meyer Ministries, Rick Warren and Saddleback Church, plus Bill Hybels are also committed to the project.
2006 marks the 12th anniversary of the genocide that killed more than a million people.
Darlene Zschech says Hope Rwanda gives the global Church a focus to use its combined strengths and resources to help the Rwandan people rebuild their nation.
“We are excited about God’s heart for this nation,” says Darlene.
“We sense the call of Heaven to host Hope Rwanda and are confident that as we gather the strength of the global Church to serve this great nation in need, we will see it changed at its core forever.?
Founded by Mark and Darlene Zschech of Hillsong Church, Sydney, Australia, Hope Rwanda will run from 7 April to 15 July 2006.
