This is to address the fact that undocumented information that I posted in hopes of getting corroboration was plagiarized by Steve Ransom in 2006 and posted on his website
Undocumented information was copied from this page without permission and posted on Steve Ransom’s Southern Ransoms website. This information was collected for my own family research purposes and not for publication. He copied and pasted information from an early, uncorrected draft without requesting permission to reprint and without asking for documentation. He then copied various postings of mine from different genealogy boards where I was posting undocumented family recollections in hopes of obtaining documented information.
When I have finished researching and documenting the lines of William A. Darden and William King Ransom, the correct, documented information will be published in my upcoming book, The Ransoms of Ransom Place and the Dardens’ of Tick Hill – A History of the Ransom and Darden Families of Una, Tennessee.
