Beloved actress and author Dale Evans passed away on February 7. The wife of “King of the Cowboys” Roy Rogers (who died in 1988), she was known as “Queen of the West.”
Evans was inducted into the CBA Hall of Honor at July’s CBA International Convention for her lifelong achievements in work and ministry where she greeted the gathering via videotape. One of her popular books was the 1953 classic “Angel Unaware.”
