Nashville’s Cowboy Dan has released a CD of parent-pleasing songs aimed at kids. With catchy tunes and simple lyrics, Cowboy Dan teaches some of life’s basic lessons in Life Is For Learning. Songs like “Honesty,” “The Right Thing to Do,” “Talk Nice,” and “Patience Is a Virtue” teach children ethical qualities and good habits while “Sit Down at the Table” and “Mama’s Song” instill respect for parents.
With twangin’ guitars and upbeat rythms, the songs would sound at home sung around a campfire giving credence to Cowboy Dan’s moniker. While Cowboy Dan is a Christian, the lyrics were not overtly Christian but simply good traditional, moral and ethical family values.
