~ One way to prepare for Constitution Day 2024 ~
On September 17, 2024, we will celebrate our Constitution’s 235th year of existence. To help everyone celebrate, Patriot Academy announces is a new way to prepare for Constitution Day and to teach the significance of our founding documents to “the next generation.”
Federal Law requires public schools to teach the Constitution. With the President’s signature on December 8, 2004, the Consolidated Appropriations Bill was signed and became Public Law 108-447. SEC. 111 2 (b) of that bill reads:
- Each educational institution that receives Federal funds for a fiscal year shall hold an educational program on the United States Constitution on September 17 of such year for the students served by the educational institution. 1

Patriot Academy developed Constitution Day training materials that can be used in elementary and middle school settings by any PA coach willing to go for it. The material is accessible by logging into the PA Coach Dashboard. Click on the “Resources and Promotional Tools” tab à “Additional Materials” and scroll down to “Bonus!
