PowerHouse Christian Center (Katy, TX) has received an invitation for their leaders to aid in the restoration of New Life Church as a way to begin the healing process. “It’s a serious and troubling time in the church when influential leaders fall. Someone has to assist in the restoration, and restore the faith of the congregation,” says G.F. Watkins, Senior Pastor of PowerHouse.
A small delegation of leaders from PowerHouse, including Pastors G.F. and Rose Watkins will travel to Colorado to participate as guides in an Encounter Life Weekend.
Encounter Weekends are designed to heal and restore a person allowing them to take on life from a new perspective.
Ted Haggard stepped down from the position of Senior Pastor at New Life Church following accusations of moral misconduct.
