Christians Make Top Model

If you’re not familiar with the show, AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, which airs Tuesdays at 9 PM ET/PT on UPN, follows 10 young women for eight weeks as they try to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of supermodeling. The winner will be awarded a multi-faceted grand prize package featuring the opportunity to receive a Revlon modeling contract and to be managed by Wilhemina Models, in addition to a guaranteed appearance in Marie Claire magazine.
Created by world-renowned supermodel Tyra Banks, who executive produced the series with Ken Mok (“Making the Band”), Banks leads the panel of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL judges, comprised of leading fashion industry experts that include former supermodel Janice Dickinson; Marie Claire fashion editor Beau Quillian; and Baby Phat creative director Kimora Lee Simmons, who will conduct regular evaluations to narrow the field from week-to-week.
Out of the thousands and thousands of applications that UPN received from wannabe models, ten finalists were selected and three of those ten girls all share a very strong belief in Christianity. Shannon Stewart, a student from Franklin, Ohio; Robin Manning, a day care assistant from Memphis, Tennessee; and Kesse Wallace, a student from North Little Rock, Arkansas, have demonstrated their ability to keep their composure even when confronted with volatile situations and other roommates who don’t share their beliefs at all!
All three Christian models have made it into the top five with one girl being voted off this next Tuesday, June 24th.
