A Nashville Christmas is a Holiday program that celebrates Christ through the diversity of music in Nashville. Christ Pres will host this special evening on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at 6 pm.

A gift for all ages featuring music ranging from classical Vivaldi through modern jazz. The guest artists provide visual dynamics and tunes that vary from “Sleigh Ride” to “O Holy Night.” The familiar faces and rich choral textures of CPC’s Worship Choir and the accompaniment of the CPC Orchestra wrap the program with lush tradition.

Kathy Troccoli—Multiple Dove Award winner and Grammy nominee is one of the foremost communicators and performers of our time. Kathy has had 20 #1 songs on both Christian and mainstream radio charts. Also, Kathy is both a speaker and author who was voted by readers of Today’s Christian Woman Magazine as one of the four most inspiring women in America.
Sam Levine—One of the finest saxophonists in the United States and one of the most sought-after musicans in the Nashville music industry. Sam has been featured in live performances with such superstars as Whitney Houston and Al Jarreau and is heard on numerous film scores and television shows. In addition to recording with the biggest names in the business, he also focuses on stirring worship and inspirational recordings.
Mark Slaughter—A commited believer, Mark sold millions of records in the 1990’s with his heavy metal rock band, Slaughter. He is a noted guitarist and vocalist who has graced some of the world’s most prominent stages.
Ashley Cleveland—Ashley needs little introduction as one of Nashville’s favorite rock and blues performers. She is of the most respected vocalists anywhere, having won two Grammy awards. Ashley has twice been recognized by Billboard Magazine as having recorded one of the top ten most-overlooked albums of the year.

This celebration of delight is a gift for our friends and community and benefits a local charity. Knowing their great need at this time of year, the CPC Home Missions department has selected the Nashville Union Rescue Mission.
