Chris Tomlin Releases “Jesus Saves”
Grammy-award winning artist Chris Tomlin releases a new song and lyric video for “Jesus Saves” from his highly-anticipated upcoming new album The King Is Still The King scheduled for release September 26. “Jesus Saves,” written by Tomlin, Chris Davenport, Jason Ingram, Phil Wickham and Ben Fielding, is available today across all digital service providers HERE. The release of “Jesus Saves” follows on the heels of the release of “Doesn’t He”, “The First Hymn,” and his current radio single “How Good It Is”.
“The lyric in the song – ‘He did what I could not do’ – is salvation explained in its simplest form,” said Chris. “That is the Cross. That is the message. My friend Max Lucado said it perfectly… it’s not about what you do. It’s not about what you don’t do. It’s about what’s already been done.”
“How Good It Is,” is Chris’ largest debut since his song “Thank You Lord” with Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line, from his 13th studio album Chris Tomlin & Friends (2020).
The album’s preorder is available HERE.
