Chonda Pierce Radio Show Premieres on Salem

The Nashville-based Salem Music Network is
the host network for a new one-hour weekly entertainment show, “I’m Talking
And I Can’t Shut Up!” The Chonda Pierce Radio Show, as it premiered on 110
radio stations nationwide on June 16 at 11 a.m. ET, through two different
Salem Radio satellites, making it available to more than 1,000 Christian
radio stations.
This new show, hosted by Pierce, the Gospel Music Association’s 2001 Grady
Nut Humor Award winner, will feature comedy segments, interviews and music.
Various segments of the show include, “A View from the Stained Glass Jungle,”
“Funny Facts You’ll Probably Forget,” and “At Home with Martha Stupor,” in a
Martha Stewart spoof.
“It’s like Rush Limbaugh meets Granny Clampit, or like Dr. Laura meets Dr.
Suess,” said Pierce.
The show is free to commercial and non-commercial stations on a barter basis
and will be delivered on GE-3 Satellite and requires a Wegener Unity 4000
digital receiver. The show is underwritten in part by World Vision, an
international child relief and development agency. A simple agreement form
from each station to receive the program can be found at
