TAG Artist Group has announced a deal with Celtic pop-rock group Ceili Rain, with plans to release Anthology: 1995-2005 in late October. The CD will include 15 of the band’s most requested studio recordings, including “That’s All the Lumber,” “God Done Good,” “You Then Me” and others. A companion DVD will also be released, featuring 17 video recordings (including 3 never-released tunes), live performance footage from an assortment of national events and television appearances, and the music video for “Like a Train” from their 2004 CD release Change In Your Pocket.
Ceili Rain has won numerous awards, appeared on multiple radio charts, and they have been featured in a variety of periodicals including glowing reviews in publications like Billboard. They have played some of the top venues in the country including Reliant Stadium and the RCA Dome. Ceili Rain has toured endlessly, building a loyal fan base over its decade-long tenure. International travels have taken them to several countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Holland and most recently Ireland.
“We’re tickled to be in the clutches of Dan Huisinga and TAG,” says Ceili Rain’s Bob Halligan, Jr. “I’ve worked with him before and witnessed his passion for artists, retailers and his international distributors.”
Band leader Halligan, Jr. has also found success writing songs for other artists, with over 140 songs recorded by such artists as Rebecca St. James, Bob Carlisle, Jump5, Cher, Kathy Mattea and KISS, with over 30 million combined units sold.
