CBA conducted its first regional convention in Hong Kong Sept. 6-8. Registered delegates totaled over
140. Fifteen countries were represented including Nepal and Papua New Guinea.
According
to organizer Jim Powell, CBA international development director, the Christian resource industry’s growth all across Asia suggested that such an event would be successful.
The convention included an exhibit floor (most exhibitors
are from
Asia), plenary sessions (Bill Anderson, CBA president-CEO, was the major speaker), and workshops for retailers and publishers.
