World-renowned Christian recording artist Carman was presented with a special proclamation from Miami Mayor Alex Penelas during the recent 2003 Expolit Latin Christian Media Convention held in Miami. The proclamation read:
“To Carman in recognition of your efforts to instill high moral values in our younger generations, as well as for your concern for the secular and spiritual well-being of our citizens.”
During Expolit, the premier Latin Christian media convention, Carman was the special guest performer at the One Voice Records / Latin Door Distribution Showcase, which was packed with dynamic emotion and driving Latin rhythms. During his set, Carman debuted selections from his upcoming CD release, “House of Praise,” due to hit stores on September 9. Carman also announced the upcoming Spanish and Portuguese versions of this album.
Carman shared the stage with One Voice Latin pop artists Freddie Colloca, Rodrigo Espinoza, Peter n Lili, Puchi Colon and Jennifer Salinas. During the convention, Carman was interviewed by top Latin media outlets including Voz Cristiana, Enlace, and TBN’s JC-tv.
