On the heels of the two-year anniversary of Michael Card’s radio program, In the Studio with Michael Card, his monthly syndicated column, From the Study of Michael Card, reaches its own milestone with its second anniversary. Started in March 2003, the column has been read by hundreds of thousands through such diverse venues as Christian Musician, Teens for Jesus, Coram Deo, Family.org (Focus on the Family), ChristianityToday.com, Crosswalk.com, Grassrootsmusic.com, OnePlace.com, and ChristianActivities.com.
Having written for magazines such as Christian Reader, Discipleship Journal, Physician’s Magazine, In Touch Magazine and more, Card has a long history of published work beyond his award-winning books. From the Study provides an on-going forum for topics that he has researched that don’t always make it into his books or other published work.
”Whether it’s a fascinating bit of history I’ve stumbled onto in my studies or a passage of Scripture that has captured my imagination in a whole new way, I am thankful for the opportunity to share it with other people who in turn might also find it as interesting as I do,” says Card.
From the Study also serves as another touchstone in The Community, the organization that serves as the umbrella over Card’s many endeavors, including his radio program, his magazine, his books and his music, all with the purpose of providing his audience with the tools and resources to study and share the Word of God.
Also known for his musical endeavors, Card has sold over 4 million albums, won 4 Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards and penned the only Christian song listed on the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) 365 Songs of the Century list. He is also an award-winning broadcaster who can be heard weekly on his show In The Studio with Michael Card on the Moody Radio Network.
