We were just hired by Joel and he stiffed us. When contacted about his lack of integrity. He went off on his” I’m way more spiritual than you are” trip. I know we will never see the money, and I have since found out that we are not the only artists who believe that he has cheated them. Maybe this will keep someone else from working with him and suffering the same fate.

I am so sorry you had a bad experience, and I appreciate the email. To be honest, I was afraid people would think I was being petty when I posted the correspondence. However, the exchange with him was so typical of the “holier than thou” attitude when someone is in the wrong which gives Christians a bad name, that I felt compelled to post it even though it was way off the mark from what we usually do. I am glad it offered some small consolation for you.
