Butterfly Group Created By Industry Veterans

Multi-platinum recording artist Bob Carlisle, Christian music industry veteran George King, and Michael
Rinaldi announce the formation of the Butterfly Group and its record label divisions: Christian Records, Gospel One Records,
Flying Leap Records and Butterfly Kids.
The first artist to sign with the Butterfly Group’s flagship label, Christian Records, is Dove Award-nominated singer/songwriter
Russ Lee. Slated to release his sophomore recording later this year, Lee’s solo debut yielded two Top 5 Christian radio singles, and
he was featured on the Left Behind The Movie Soundtrack recording.
“We are thrilled to announce the establishment of the Butterfly Group and the signing of our first artist, Russ Lee,” said King,
managing partner, Butterfly Group. “The Butterfly Group is dedicated to the creative presentation of the Christian message through
music and media, and the talent and personal integrity of Russ Lee could not be a better fit for our purpose. We have an exciting and
aggressive vision for our company, and Bob, Mike and I firmly believe the time is right for us to make the Butterfly Group this
industry’s newest success story.”
“What really excites me about the Butterfly Group is the opportunities we will have to encourage, impact and build a new generation
of musical artistry,” said Carlisle, managing partner, Butterfly Group. “Russ Lee is one of the strongest singer/songwriters in our
industry today, but it is his focus on ministry that made him the ideal artist with which to launch Christian Records. It is a privilege
to be embarking on this new venture with my good friends George and Mike.”
“From a business perspective, I am extremely excited about the opportunity to co-manage a company that will strive to operate with
the utmost integrity,” said Rinaldi, managing partner, Butterfly Group. “We are committed to doing the right things for our artists
and this industry in a way that honors the Lord. And speaking of integrity, we are thrilled to have Russ Lee on board as our first
signing. It is an honor to help bring Russ’ message to the world.”
“From my initial meetings, I could see that these men ‘get it,’” said Lee. “They understand who I am and what I’m about. I believe
they are on the threshold of something amazing, and I’m excited about linking arms with people who really want to impact the
world for Jesus Christ, using music and the arts as a tool. George, Bob and Mike are men of faith and vision, and I’m honored to be
on their team.”
Christian Records will offer music to help meet the spiritual, emotional and entertainment needs of Christians in the 25 and older age
demographic. The label will focus on quality songs and artists who communicate a strong message to this target audience. In
addition, Christian Records will offer a series of non-artist driven specialty product.
Gospel One Records will produce quality contemporary gospel music, highlighting the energy and charisma that defines the genre.
Flying Leap Records is aimed at the youth market, with a goal to develop musically relevant young artists who have a passion for the
Christian faith. Butterfly Kids will create music product lines for children, utilizing high-profile in-store marketing campaigns to
reach its target audience.
Founder of Diadem Music Group and most recently senior vice president/co-general manager of Reunion Records, George King
brings to the Butterfly Group more than 30 years of experience in the music and entertainment industries. He has been instrumental
in the careers of such artists as Michael W. Smith, Bob Carlisle, Yolanda Adams, Ray Boltz, LaRue and Joy Williams, among others.

music industry veteran, Carlisle has sold more than 3 million records and has penned over 100 songs. He has written six books and

the Pacific Rim route.
The Butterfly Group is slated to make a major announcement at the upcoming CBA International Convention in Anaheim, California.
