The Singles at Brentwood United Methodist Church have re-scheduled their Sock-Hop, previously cancelled last month due to bad weather, and will hold the event on Saturday, March 18, 2006, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. All single adults are welcome. Bring a date or come alone, there’ll be plenty of opportunity for fun, dancing, and mingling.
DJ Tommy Hart will provide the music, with favorites both old and new, and we may do the Limbo and have a Hula Hoop contest too. You might even win a prize! A great spaghetti dinner will also be served. Dinner, dance, and other refreshments all for only $10.00. Dinner served from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Dance 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Singles@BUMC is a group of single adults in their 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s plus, including those never married, divorced, and widowed. Brentwood United Methodist Church is located at 309 Franklin Road, Brentwood. Enter by main entrance at back corner of church and follow signs.
