Brother’s Keeper Completes Winter Jam Tour

Memphis-based Pop/Rock band Brother’s Keeper recently completed the 25-city NewSong Winter Jam Tour, previewing its upcoming Ardent Records’ sophomore release, COVER ME, slated to hit the streets March 26. The guitar-driven trio was featured alongside the Newsboys and Michelle Tumes as they performed for more than 100,000 fans in major markets across the country.
“Not only did we get to minister through song to thousands of people during Winter Jam,” says Brother’s Keeper member John Sanders, “we also had the opportunity to see many teenagers make God real and number one in their lives. It’s so rewarding as Christian musicians to not only sing about our Savior but to have a little role to help make disciples.”
While fans anticipate the release of COVER ME, contemporary music listeners are already receiving a taste of Brother’s Keeper’s signature pop harmonies as it’s first single, “Take Me to the Cross,” garners the No. 16 position on CCM’s Adult Contemporary (AC) chart and No. 18 on R&R’s AC chart. Thematically, the album’s songs, combining driving guitars and vocal harmonies, continue the band’s call to faithfulness and mutual accountability.
Brother’s Keeper hit the spotlight in 1999 with the release of its self-titled debut project which sparked the No. 1 AC single, “Rain On.” The band’s goal to reach out to as many people as possible with the message of Christ and it’s priority of holding one-another accountable on and off the stage continue to be major focuses throughout the COVER ME album.
