Big Idea held its World Premiere of VeggieTales: Lord of the Beans this week at Carmike Thoroughbred 20 in Franklin, TN. Nearly 1,000 people representing a who’s who of Nashville attended the premiere, including popular recording artist Wynonna Judd, who sings the episode’s theme song, “It’s About Love.” After inviting the children in the audience to join her in front of the theater, Wynonna and a crowd of children danced as the credits rolled and her theme song played to a celebratory finish.
Also attending the premiere were VeggieTales co-creators Mike Nawrocki (director of Lord of the Beans and voice of “Larry”) and Phil Vischer (writer of Lord of the Beans and voice of “Bob”), acclaimed recording artist Nicole C. Mullen and members from such well known bands as Jars of Clay, Third Day, Newsboys and more.
VeggieTales: Lord of the Beans is a story that kids and parents can enjoy together about gifts and how to use what we have to help others. Starring Junior Asparagus as Toto Baggypants, the title celebrates family, friendship, forgiveness and thankfulness and is served up on DVD and VHS Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 in the CBA and general markets respectively.
