The Bluefield College Department of Music’s Choral Union will present
the musical “Experiencing God,” Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28 at 7:30
p.m. in Harman Chapel.
Under the direction of Dr. Roger O’Neel, assistant professor of music at
BC, the Choral Union is an 80-voice choir composed of college students and
community singers. The singers will be combining with area children’s choirs
and an orchestra for this multimedia worship experience based upon the
“Experiencing God” Bible study by Henry Blackaby.
Numerous area churches and denominations will be represented in the
presentation. Choral Union participants have been rehearsing since February
for the April 27 debut, which according to Dr. O¹Neel, promises to be “an
evening of inspiration and worship.”
The “Experiencing God” concerts are open and free to the public. A
free-will love offering will be taken to offset expenses. For more
information, please call the BC Office of Public Relations at 276-326-4212
or the BC Department of Music at 276-326-4258.
