Bluefield College Hosts Comedian Brad Stine

Christian comedian Brad Stine will perform live on the campus of Bluefield College, Tuesday, September 3 at 9 p.m. in the Student Activities Center as part of the school’s fall Comedy Club Series.

Stine, whose nonstop, high-energy show is filled with improvisation and audience participation, has been referred to as “one of the most exciting comedians” working the comedy circuit today. He began his comedy career at the age of 18 as a slight-of-hand magician performing at major hotels and restaurants in California. He quickly became a favorite at clubs in southern California, prompting him to take his show on the road.

Stine has since been a frequent traveler, headlining comedy clubs, colleges and churches throughout the country and abroad. He has also appeared on national television shows, like MTV’s “Half Hour Comedy Hour,” Showtime’s “Comedy Club Network,” and A&E’s “Caroline’s Comedy Hour,” “Evening at the Improv” and “Comedy on the Road.”

When it comes to observational humor with hysterical social commentary, Stine is without peer. With a style that brilliantly combines a
rubber-faced, animated delivery with a sophisticated take on life in general, Stine graphically illustrates all the humorous traps we fall into by just being human. His fresh, animated, facially manic comic approach appeals to every segment of society, bringing the most conservative and most liberal members of the audience to their feet…together.

“In 20 years of ministry it seems as though I have heard every type of speaker, comedian, and singer at the hundreds of conferences I’ve attended,” said Doug Fields, student pastor at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, “but Brad Stine is the exception to the norm. He is the only person I want to have at our conferences now.”

Brad Stine’s Bluefield College show is open and free to the public and will begin at 9 p.m. in the school1s Student Activities Center in Shott Hall. For more information, please call the BC Office of Public Relations at 276-326-4212.
