Drama! Praise! High energy! Fusion! Celebration! It’s all a part of an
exciting Creative Ministries Revival scheduled on the campus of Bluefield
College, Wednesday through Saturday, April 3-6.
Area youth, parents, churches, seniors and all other community friends
are invited to participate in the first annual BC Creative Ministries
Revival, “Fusion: Christ in You, the Hope of Glory.” The four-night
celebration is being sponsored by the BC Drama Ministry Team and the Baptist
Student Union, and according to BC instructor of theatre arts Charles Reese,
the event is going to be “inspiring.”
“It’s going to be a celebration of God’s saving grace presented through
creative ministries,” Reese said. “It will feature exciting music,
compelling drama, inspiring interactive worship, and a challenge to let
Christ live in and through you.”
The programs each night will include praise and worship, interpretive
movements, drama, mimes and other creative ministries. Worship and praise
will be led by Steadfast, a dynamic new group whose talent is only surpassed
by their willingness to worship God. Drama will be presented by
Re:Creations, a nationally known drama team who are artists in residence at
Bluefield College, and by the BC Drama Ministry Team, a talented group of
college students who entertain and inspire.
The Creative Ministries Revival will begin each night, April 3-6, at 7
p.m. in BC’s Harman Chapel and Performing Arts Center. In addition, special
activities for youth have been scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6,
including blow-up games, food and music.
“We hope that everyone will make plans to attend this wonderful,
first-of-its-kind event at Bluefield College,” Reese added. “We hope to see
the entire community here.”
