Bethany House Fiction Authors Honored With Four Awards

The Christy Awards celebrate excellence in Christian fiction and are designed to highlight the diversity of choices available in Christian fiction, encourage creativity, and highlight talent that may not have reached the bestseller lists. Named after Catherine Marshall’s popular novel Christy, the Christy Awards were established in 1999.
This year’s Bethany House Winners are:
All the Way Home by Ann Tatlock (Contemporary Fiction category)
The reuniting of two friends separated by World War II internment camps shows the vital importance of family and the bitter consequences of prejudice.
Candle in the Darkness by Lynn Austin (North American Historical category)
A gripping Civil War novel told from the unique perspective of a plantation owner’s daughter who joins the Abolitionists.
