How Does Tennessee Rank as a Fall Destination in 2022?

How fun is Tennessee in the fall? For a Southern state, Tennessee did very well, coming in at #21. The Volunteer State came in at #29 for fall scenery, #21 for outdoor attractions, #22 for entertainment, and also #22 for safety. The hotel industry always does well in the fall as tourists flock through Nashville on their way to Knoxville, Gatlinburg and Chattanooga to enjoy autumn scenery in the mountains.
