On May 11th, 2002. Belmont University in Nashville TN., dedicated their 10 AM
graduation service in the memory of Abigail (Abby) L. Snyder (July
10th-1980-June-7th-2000). The President of
Belmont University Robert C. Fisher spoke to around 1500 people about Abby and the many students
she had touched in such a positive way in her short life.
The University
of Belmont allowed Abby’s parent Terry and Regina to receive Abby’s degree. Following the graduation there was a fine reception in the Helen R. Neely
dining hall . Terry and Regina Snyder were pleased to see all of Abby’s
friends and class mates . Even though this was a very emotional time for
Abby’s family it helped in the healing process of knowing she has not been
forgotten.
Abby was a very special young lad; she touched many people
through her kindness and love for the Lord.
Nashville’s music row radio station WNAH spoke about Abby and played her
song on the radio. It was wonderful to hear voice on the air waves of music
city.
