First Friday Singles this Friday, June 6 @ 7:00pm in the Corner Room. Come enjoy fellowship with other single adults over some great food and a short time of worship. We’ll also watch a video from The Appalachian Dream Center in West Virginia which is where we’ll be going on our Mission Trip July 1-6.
Singles Mission Trip to the ADC in Holden WV, July 1-6, 2003. Logan County is the poorest county in West Virginia – coal country – with alot of hard living but wonderful mountain people. We’ll be helping with the continuing renovation of the Center’s food distribution center, doing minor home repair (guys), food and clothing distribution as well as hosting a July 4th celebration for the community children. Only $95.00 for the 6 day/5 night trip. Deadline for payment is Friday June 13. Call if you have more questions or we’ll see you Friday night.
Singles Hiking Excursion: Coming Sat. morning June 28, Karlton Scott is hosting. After that we’ll meet for a picnic lunch. More details coming but put it on your calendar now.
Guitar Class with Rob Frazier: Weds nights, July 10 – Aug. 13 (6 wks) in Koinonia. Want to improve your guitar skills? We’ll practice basic chord structures, learn about reading chord charts and work on worship songs together. It’s FREE but you’ll need your own acoustic guitar.
