Next Friday, Feb. 2 First Friday Worship @ Sozo’s, 7:30 pm
If you haven’t been to First Friday in a while, this would be the one to
catch. My good friend, Travis Meadows from “The Book of HOPE” Bible
Distribution Project will be leading and sharing his experiences travelling
worldwide doing music and worship as a component of this Bible distribution
ministry. He has a challenge to many of us to consider using our gifts in
similar ways – could be a life-changing night! You may have heard that
January’s FF was incredible – it was – don’t miss this one.
Friday, Feb. 9 Second Friday Singles Potluck for Singles 30+
6:30pm in the Corner Room
Sunday Feb. 11 6:30 pm Dr. Phillip Johnson, noted author and speaker will
be in the worship Center speaking on “What You Need to Know about Creation
and Evolution.” Not just for eggheads… Co-sponsored by InterVarstiy
Christian Fellowship, this promises to be a fascinating evening. More info
NOTE: In the meantime, we have postponed the first “Weds Night Live”
planned for Jan. 31 and replaced it with an open meeting for all those
interested in being part of the leadership and/or worship team for this
monthly college-only event (same time and place.) We want to make sure we
get off to a good start. (WNL will now begin Weds. Feb. 28, 9-11pm in the
Fellowship Hall and will always be the last Weds night of the month.)
It is my privilege to minister to and alongside such wonderful people as
yourselves. I look forward to a great 2001!!
