Australian Christian Channel Grows

The Australian Christian Channel last week went from being the smallest channel offered on Australian Pay TV networks to one of the largest in the country, providing instant access to 25% of Australian households.
For the first time in Australian history, the Gospel message will be broadcast via mainstream TV across the entire nation 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
The Australian Christian Channel initially went to air in 1999 on Optus PayTV and has grown steadily in both the quality and variety of programs offered to viewers.
Both Foxtel and Austar have followed the lead of Optus by including the ACC on the basic package available to each subscriber.
Managing Director of the Australian Christian Channel Mike Jeffs says that the channel is “another giant step forward in seeing our dream realised that every home in Australia would have the ability to receive the Gospel message via television”.
