Audio Adrenaline Headlines Rock & Roll Festival

GRAMMY Award-winning Audio Adrenaline kicks into fall, headlining its Until My Heart Caves In
20-plus-city major market tour. The band is touring in support of their highly anticipated, ninth studio album, Until My Heart Caves In, releasing on ForeFront Records August 30. No strangers to the road, Audio Adrenaline remains one of today’s top touring attractions known for members’ explosiveness and energetic outpourings, coupled with state of the art production.
Joining Audio Adrenaline for this Rock & Roll festival-like tour are some of the top acts in the industry today: Flicker Records’ Pillar, Inpop Records’ Superchic[k] and Sparrow Records’ Sanctus Real, all of whom have headlined their own successful tours. Also joining the tour is up-and-coming Flicker Records’ Rock band Kids in the Way.
The Until My Heart Caves In
Tour begins September 23 in Minneapolis/St. Paul and will roll across the country into major markets such as Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and more. Wrapping up in Dodge City, KS October 30, additional tour dates are listed on our Calendar.
“ Until My Heart Caves In
is about living for God until your body collapses; it’s about never giving up,” says Audio Adrenaline lead singer Mark Stuart. “We should be worried less about the nice clothes and plastic personas and more about getting on the edge, living with authentic and real passion. This upcoming tour will challenge attendees to live like warriors and to be genuine in their relationships, faith and lifestyles.”
“This is the perfect Audio Adrenaline tour, and is the premiere mainstream Christian rock tour of the season,” adds Mike Snider, Third Coast Artists Agency president. “It features a stellar line up of top artists that will offer a high-energy, fun tour in great rock venues across the country for a remarkably low price that fans and youth pastors alike will appreciate.”
Together since 1991, Audio Adrenaline teamed with a predominantly mainstream producer for the first time, Jay Joyce (Patty Griffin, The Wallflowers, Iggy Pop, Macy Gray), to record Until My Heart Caves In. The band credits Joyce for really capturing the Audio Adrenaline sound, in some ways for the very first time. The album reflects a raw, more live feeling, and Joyce inspired the band to dig deeper for this record.
“The music’s got attitude, it’s got teeth and we’re all taking a big step forward, definitely moving on with less complacency,” says Audio Adrenaline guitarist/vocalist Tyler Burkum. “Sometimes you make a record and feel like you’ve passed over what it’s saying by the time it comes out, but this one really does feel where we’re at right now within our hearts.”
Take a full throttled blast of musical passion, meld it with a compassionate desire to impact the world at large and add members’ rock-solid grounding in reality with their vulnerable, no holds barred songwriting and the results comprise what fans can expect from Audio Adrenaline’s nucleus. Thanks to earnest performances and undying appreciation for its fans, the group has sold over three million records and racked up 18 No. 1 singles. Add in an RIAA Certified Gold sales award and the prestigious “CCM Song of the Decade” crowning in the 90s (“Big House”), and Audio Adrenaline has consistently proved its relevance, artistry and heart. The band is also well known for its humanitarian aid, launching the Hands and Feet Project that is dedicated to helping orphans in Haiti. More information on the band can be found at

The energetic, pop-punk band Superchic[k] continues its genre-busting journey with recent release, Beauty From Pain. The album, featuring the No. 1 radio hit, “Pure,” showcases Superchic[k]’s unique, new wave/rock sound coupled with positive, uplifting lyrics. The band has gained further critical acclaim through exposure in various movie, commercial and TV soundtracks, most recently with Disney’s Ice Princes and Stuart Little 3. Superchic[k] is currently traveling the summer festival circuit. New singles, “Anthem” and “We Live,” are at radio now. More information can be found at

R & R’s most played Christian Rock band of 2004, Sanctus Real received four GMA Music nominations and walked away with a Modern Rock Album of the Year win for its current, critically acclaimed album Fight the Tide. With three No. 1 radio hits in just over a year under their belt (“Everything About You,” “The Fight Song,” “Beautiful Day”), Sanctus Real members have become well known for their captivating live performances, even capturing the attention of both the CBS Early Show and MSNBC. The readers of CCM magazine have also voted Sanctus Real “Best New Artist.” More information on the band can be found at

Less than two years since joining Flicker Records’ roster, Indianapolis-based band Kids in the Way has made noteworthy headway in the world of indie rock. Kids in the Way had a successful debut run with its first national record, Safe From the Losing Fight, in December 2003. The project earned them three Top 10 rock hits, “We Are,” “Hallelujah,” and “Phoenix With a Heartache,” as well as billing alongside popular artists Audio Adrenaline, Pillar, Relient K, Skillet and others. Since January 2005, the band has toured with Skillet, Seventh Day Slumber, Spoken, Showbread and Forever Changed. Its sophomore record, Apparitions of Melody, which released in May, has already earned a Top 10 rock radio single, and the band’s title track video is being played on TVU, Fuse, as well as MTV2, among other outlets.
