~ Christian Activities Mourns the Untimely Passing of Charlie Kirk ~
If you believe in something, you need to have the courage to fight for those ideas – not run away from them or try and silence them.
Christian author and speaker Charlie Kirk may be best know as the co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) in 2012 where he served as executive director.
In 2019, Kirk founded Turning Point Action, a political advocacy arm, and later, with Pentecostal pastor Rob McCoy, he started Turning Point Faith—aimed at mobilizing religious communities on cultural issues. In November 2019, Kirk and Jerry Falwell Jr. co-founded the “Falkirk Center for Faith and Liberty”, a conservative think-tank funded, owned and housed by Liberty University. Kirk also hosted the talk radio program, The Charlie Kirk Show.
One of the most horrifying and surprising evolutions we have witnessed among our widespread campus network is the rapid movement away from tolerating opposing ideas and respectful debate to the deployment of obscene bully tactics from the left.
Kirk was fatally shot in the neck by a young man who was reportedly in a relationship with his “transgender” roommate on Sept. 10, 2025, while talking on stage at Utah Valley U. in Orem, Utah, for the TPUSA event, “The American Comeback Tour.” He was speaking on gun violence when he was shot. But who was Charlie Kirk?
Charlie Kirk: A Voice of Faith in the Public Square
Charlie Kirk was a prominent conservative activist whose evangelical Christian faith profoundly shaped his life and mission until his tragic death. He was an evangelical Christian who belonged to the Calvary Chapel Association.
Known for his bold advocacy for conservative values, Kirk’s journey from a secular-leaning youth to a leading voice for Christian nationalism highlighted his deep conviction that faith and freedom are intertwined. His work through Turning Point Faith and his public engagements sought to mobilize Christians to live out their beliefs courageously in a rapidly changing cultural landscape.
Raised in a church-going environment in Prospect Heights, Illinois, Kirk’s faith evolved into a cornerstone of his activism. He believed Christianity was not just a personal conviction but a cultural force essential to America’s identity. Through Turning Point Faith, launched in 2021 with pastor Rob McCoy, Kirk encouraged churches to engage in civic life, framing political battles as spiritual ones. His commitment to biblical values was evident in his defense of life, religious liberty, and traditional morality, often invoking scripture to ground his arguments.
Kirk’s faith was unapologetic and action-oriented. He once stated, “The Bible says very clearly, ‘Occupy until I come,’” quoting Luke 19:13 to urge Christians to actively influence society until Christ’s return. This reflected his belief that believers should lead in politics, education, and culture. He also expressed hope in a spiritual revival, saying, “We are seeing Gen Z go back to church in record numbers. We are seeing a Christian revival that should give everyone in this audience hope.”
Kirk’s legacy as a Christian activist continues to inspire many to stand boldly for their faith. His life reminds believers that faith is not passive but a call to engage the world with truth, courage, and love, trusting in God’s ultimate purpose.
Why Did the Left Hate Charlie Kirk?
Why did leftists hate Charlie Kirk? Because he unapologetically spoke the truth. Because he said things like this:

The truth is that while those on the left – particularly the far left – claim to be tolerant and welcoming of diversity, in reality many are quite intolerant of anyone not embracing their radical views.
Leftists Celebrate the Death of a Martyr
While most Americans mourned the death of the young father, far too many Democrats and leftist lunatics celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Videos flooded TikTok. Nasty posts dominated X. And BluSky was reportedly reveling as a whole over the tragic murder. The monsters reveling in the death of someone who disagreed with them proved that Charlie Kirk was right about just about everything he said about the left.
But the disgusting Mr. Bryant wasn’t done yet:
The Depravity of the Left
One only has to look at the number of likes and reposts some of these repellent people received to understand the depth of depravity on the left. Our society is broken when people can be fired for using the “wrong pronouns,” but they are allowed to celebrate the assassination of a good man and young father like Charlie Kirk.
Christian Activities Asks for Proof
Many of those celebrating Charlie’s death point to Charlie’s alleged “calls for violence against minorities/the marginalized/etc.” Christian Activities request that anyone saying this or believing this post DOCUMENTED incidents where Charlie Kirk said anything violent, providing the full context of the quote.
For instance, author Steven King and always-bitter Rosie O’Donnell were among many who falsely alleged that Charlie Kirk called for the stoning of homosexuals. King later apologized for spreading a false rumor.
