Diamond Rio lead singer Marty Roe will be a guest on Hannity’s “Great American Panel” this Thurs. The program airs on Fox News Channel weeknight’s at 9pm EST. Hosted by one of the most prominent and influential conservative voices in the country, Sean Hannity, the program offers a mix of news, commentary, interviews and branded segments such as the Great American Panel — made up of three nightly in-studio guests from across the political spectrum to discuss the issues of the day. 8/25/09 Rebecca St. James has been performing concerts in Europe, including Flevo Festival, one of Europe’s largest outdoor Christian events, held annually in the Netherlands. She also recently finished work on her latest film project, Rising Stars.

8/21/9 As a special “thank you” to his fans, multiple award-winning artist Smokie Norful will release Smokie Norful Live: Deluxe Edition (EMI Gospel/Tre’Myles Music) on August 25. The deluxe edition package will consist of an expanded version of Norful’s fourth and latest album release, Smokie Norful Live, with two bonus tracks (a studio version of the favorite “Dear God” and a live performance of the never-before-released “My Choice”) as well as an explosive 90+ minute live concert DVD of the album recording. In celebration of the release, Norful will perform special, free shows in Memphis and Philadelphia on August 25 and 26.
8/8/9 MercyMe was involved in a fatal car crash in Fort Wayne, IN, this morning when a car turned into the path of their tour bus. No one on MercyMe’s bus was injured, but two passengers in the car were killed and the driver of the car is in critical condition. Police say the tour bus was traveling through a green light this morning when a black car turned abruptly and drove directly into the path of the bus. MercyMe made this official statement: MercyMe would like to express their incredible heartache over this horrible accident. They are praying for the families of all who this will affect, and are asking others to please pray as well. The band and crew sustained minor bumps and bruises, however their hearts are heavy. 8/2/9 Platinum-selling, Dove Award winning singer/songwriter, Mark Schultz, received multiple standing ovations as the featured recording artist at this month’s Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Saturday Morning Meeting in Bentonville, AR. Schultz was invited to appear at the exclusive executive gathering July 18 in preparation for the release of his highly anticipated, fifth studio album, Come Alive, releasing Aug. 25 on Word Records.
8/1/9 Phillips, Craig and Dean’s smash hit “Revelation Song” has claimed the top spot on Billboard’s Hot Christian AC, Mediabase/All Access Christian AC and the CRW AC charts, and created an overwhelming momentum for the band’s upcoming release, Fearless, on Aug. 4 (INO Records).
Brandon Heath and Leeland will co-headline the “Follow You Tour” fall, along with special guest Francesca Battistelli. Oklahoma Christian University (OC) has reached an agreement with the Acappella Company that will move members of the popular Christian vocal group Acappella to the OC campus this fall. The company’s headquarters will remain in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Sibling duo BeBe & CeCe Winans are gearing up to release their first album together in over 15 years. The album, Still, releases September 29th and on their own label, B & C Records. Still will be distributed through Malaco Records.
Legendary Christian rock band Stryper will kick off their 25th Anniversary Tour in September, touring throughout the U.S. before heading out on an international run in early 2010.
