Do you ever wonder if you are lovable, wanted, sought after or if anyone truly cares about you?! If you are a “child of God” (have asked Christ to forgive you come into your heart and save you, Romans 10:9-10) then get ready to put away all of those doubts! Read this passage of scripture and let the truth of it grip your heart and secure your worth.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hard ship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:’For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as
sheep to be slaughtered.’
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39
God loves you, do not let satan convince you otherwise! If you are single or dating, you are loved and have been loved, before the creation of the earth
(Eph. 1:4-6 & Rms. 8:28-31). He knows you more intimately than anyone else
(Psalm 139), and still He pursues you with passion!!
Are you worthy..???…NO!!! But, God took care of our “unworthiness” through His Son Jesus Christ!! We are forgiven, chosen and loved by God the Father!
If you still have some lingering doubts about your ability to be loved, let this next piece of scripture put that to rest for you.
“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power
through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your
hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in
love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and
long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that
surpasses knowledge–that you may be filled to the measure of all the
fullness of God.” Ephesians. 3:16-19
Earthly love might be blind but the Love that comes from the Father is all-knowing and all-seeing. We can hide nothing from Him, and yet He still loves us! Pretty amazing if you ask me! God is Love (1 John 4:16), the designer, author and finisher of Perfect Love that comes through Jesus Christ! February 14, 2002, should be a happy and secure Valentine’s Day for all believers… even singles… because He loves YOU!
