Spring Hill recording artist Al Denson is set to bring the Spring portion of his “Al Denson 15th Anniversary
Tour” to more than 25 U.S. cities beginning January 11. Denson designed the Tour to partner with churches and Christian radio
stations across the nation in an effort to support those who have helped facilitate much of his ministry over the years, with proceeds
from each concert going to the partner church or radio station.
Kicking-off in Ponca City, Oklahoma, the Tour will also make stops in Dallas; Houston; Greenville, North Carolina; Wichita,
Kansas; Bradford, Pennsylvania; Carlsbad, New Mexico; Grand Junction, Colorado; Mount Laurel, New Jersey; Walla Walla,
Washington; and Ottawa, Illinois. Additional dates for next year will be added throughout the remainder of this year and early 2003.
“I have so much be thankful for when I take stock of the last 15 years,” said Denson. “And since the Lord continues to pour out His
blessings on our ministry, my prayer remains that this Tour would allow us to share a portion of those blessings with others.
Christian radio and local church bodies across the nation have been so good to me, and my heart simply wants to encourage them to
continue spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
“When someone says, ?We want to help your station,? you generally do not take them very seriously,” said Warren Wilson, station
manager, KAYA, Sioux City, Iowa. “But, if Al Denson calls and says that, you can believe him. KAYA had just experienced a fire in
our studios, which forced us to relocate, and we really needed the encouragement Al?s concert provided. We even had money left
over from the love offering to begin a concert fund, which we never had previously. It was a great evening of Praise and Worship!”
Denson will perform selections from his latest Spring Hill recording, With One Voice, which released in November, including the
Top 5 Inspirational hit and the project?s first single, “Holy Is The Lord/He Is Exalted.” Additionally, such classic Denson hits as
“Be The One,” “Take Me To The Cross,” “Peace Be Still” and “Come And Fill This Place” will be featured during each concert.
Prior to the beginning of the shows, audiences will see a specially produced video presentation, highlighting humorous moments
from Denson?s career.
With 11 albums to his credit and 19 Christian radio hits, including eight #1 songs, Al Denson has become one of the most
recognizable and enduring voices in Christian music. Launched in 1999, the nationally-syndicated “The Al Denson Show” airs via
such television outlets as Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), The Inspiration Network (INSP) and SkyAngel Network. Denson
has also authored the books “I Gotta Know” (Tyndale) and “Take Me To The Cross” Devotional (Tyndale).
