What do you get when you combine 2 adults in a second marriage with 6 kids? It may not be the Brady Bunch, but you can bet there are plenty of life’s lessons to share. Viki shares through personal experience and reading the complexities of the “Blended Family”.
Viki and her husband Malcomb were married in 1998. The second marriage for both, their combined family includes 6 children and 3 grandchildren.
Fitting 2 adults and 5 children ages 3 to 21 in a small house has been a challenge in itself. Add to that all the struggles of scheduling, ex-spouses, new marriage challenges, and many more exciting issues and you definately have a story to tell.
Viki is an avid reader and is able to combine this love of literature with her career. She is the store manager of The Bridge in Hermitage, a Christian Retailer of Books, Music and Media. Viki and Malcolm also find time to teach a Sunday School class at Two Rivers Baptist Church in Nashville specifically for Blended Families.
