This documentary, which airs on Good Friday, April 7at 7:00pm ET, explores the drama and intrigue of the final day of Jesus’ earthly life. Beginning at the Last Supper on the night before Jesus was killed, viewers travel through Jerusalem, witnessing the events in the Upper Room, the betrayal and arrest of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, the trials before the Sanhedrin and Herod, and the final trial before Pontius Pilate. Viewers will get a firsthand glimpse of Jesus’ suffering and death, following Him up the mountain of Calvary and seeing Him nailed to a Roman cross, killed for the sins of His people.

Ultimately, this documentary focuses on the substitutionary atonement of the Savior of the World in the greatest act of redemption in human history. The Lord Jesus Christ absorbed the wrath of God and died in the place of sinners so that they might be made right in the sight of God.

A Moment in History: The Final 24 Hours of Jesus’ Life” premieres on FISM TV on Friday, April 7 at 7:00 pm ET.
