It’s the end of June, 2023, so the 4th of July is knocking on our door! Why do we celebrate the 4th of July? With all the problems in our world and the dissolution of so much of our American culture, why should we even celebrate it this year?
Why Celebrate the 4th of July This Year?
The 4th of July honors the brave men and women who founded and colonized this country. It honors the covenant they made with God to build a country where government would not override religious freedom.
Now, more than ever, we need that patriotic zeal to return to our roots and remember why this country was founded as well as what principles it was founded upon.
July 4 2023 in Nashville
Nashville will host its annual Let Freedom Sing fireworks extravaganza in Downtown Music City. Featuring Brad Paisley as headliner, the event features other artists as well as one of the largest fireworks displays in the country.
Other fireworks displays will take place in and around Music City, and there will be picnics and other smaller events such as the potluck 4th of July picnic hosted by Bellevue Area Meetup at Red Caboose Park.
