“The Mayberry Poem – A Tribute to Mayberry” is now accepting poems about Mayberry and “The Andy Griffith Show” for the 2006 edition. “A Tribute to Mayberry” is a collection of poems by various writers around the country who have one thing in common — they all love “The Andy Griffith Show.” Each poem is part of a compilation celebrating the spirit of Mayberry! The new edition will feature over 180 separate poems of different lengths by nearly 60 different poets from more than 20 states to make up “A Tribute to Mayberry.” Each verse honors a character, episode, or quality of Mayberry.
