Neal Brower Lecture on Mayberry 3:00 p.m. at Downtown Cinema. Free.
Neal Brower is a native of North Carolina and an ordained United Methodist minister at Fairfield UMC in High Point. He has taught a TAGS course at community colleges in NC (6 schools/ 20+ times). Neal has written a book, Mayberry 101, John Blair Publishers, 1998. He has lectured on Saturday afternoon of Mayberry Days for the past ten years.
This year Betty Lynn (Thelma Lou) will join Brower. The lecture will look at her early career and TAGS work. The lecture begins at 3:00 p.m. at the Downtown Cinema. Admission is free.
