Steven Curtis Chapman, Sparrow artist and two-time Grammy winner, was the year’s most honored Dove winner, garnering a record-breaking six Dove Awards including Artist of the Year. For the fifth consecutive year, Chapman was named Songwriter of the Year. His Grammy-winning The Great Adventure also received GMA’s Song of the Year honor as well as Contemporary Album of the Year and Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year awards. The Great Adventure video also won a dove for Short Form Video.
