Scene & Herd
(updated October 3, 1998)

Sunday Nights at Bellevue Station is off and running with local artists like The Randolphs, Ronnie Dean and Wings of Change, and Dan Harrell performing. Harrell is the manager of another local music club, The Lighthouse, which is an outreach of the Family of God/Woodmont Hills Church of Christ. He performed original "family friendly" songs about growing up in a small town, an old-fashioned father, and a song quite reminiscent of ?Butterfly Kisses ("Turning Corners?).

Appearing October 25 at Bellevue Station will be well-known local personality, Mark Smeby. Versatile Mark was a regular DJ on WAY-FM known as Matt Thomas. Mark combines pop music with dramatic story-telling to communicate his journey towards God.He is a writer and performer of church dramas and a journalist for several CCM magazines, as well as a gifted singer. "I think this will be a great fun, worshipful, reflective evening," says Mark. "I'm very much looking forward to it."

Catch Mark at 7:30PM , October 25 at Bellevue Station, located at 7490 Old Harding Road. Christian Activities Tennessee sponsors one Sunday Night at Bellevue Station each month and acts as co-sponsor for the other Sunday nights.
