One of Christian music's favorite sons will make another rare Nashville appearance when Russ Taff performs at 3rd & Lindsley on Jan. 22, 2013 at 8 pm. Taff will be performing hits from his many acclaimed albums, from "Walls of Glass" to "The Way Home," with local band The Alternators whom Taff calls "some of the best studio and live musicians in town." Joining Taff will be his longtime friend, guitarist & Grammy award winning writer & producer James Hollihan, Jr.

Taff's voice has been hailed by Billboard as "the single most electrifying voice in Christian music." His recordings have earned him a worldwide audience as well as critical acclaim. In addition to his solo career, Taff was a part of Gaither Vocal Band from 2001-2004, before making the decision to pursue his solo career again.

2013 marks the 30th anniversary of Taff's iconic Grammy Award winning album "Walls of Glass," considered by many to be one of the top CCM albums of all time. Taff's most recent CD, "Faroe Islands," was nominated in three categories at the 2012 GMA Dove Awards, where Taff was also honored with a special “Russ Taff Tribute.”

Taff reconnected with fans at 3rd & Lindsley back in Oct. 2012 to a packed house, so this time the promoter is warning guests the show is expected to be a sell out with no comp seats or guest list.

Russ Taff and The Alternators with James Hollihan, Jr. will be at 3rd & Lindsley on Jan. 22, 2013 at 8 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance through www.3rdandlindsley.com. If any seats are left the day of the show, they will be $20 at the door. Find out more at: https://www.facebook.com/events/369474993145063/?fref=ts
